Hi There.  My name is Art Barela.  I’m the Senior Copywriter and Strategic Wordsmith for MyWordEscape.  Just a lil' bit about my background... I’ve enjoyed a long, healthy career loaded with Professional Marketing, Sales & Design Experience. I’ve been fortunate to be recognized as an American Advertising Federation (AAF) Award Winning Artist, Illustrator & Graphic Designer.  I have an extensive professional resume working for more than 30 years as an Environmental & Architectural Graphic Designer, Project Manager, and Sales Executive, consulting for some of the most prominent Healthcare Providers on the West Coast. In addition to an expansive Healthcare Design Sales background, I have considerable experience working for many years as an independent contractor and business owner, writing sales copy and SEO rich web content, along with print and production marketing collateral for a wide variety of industries, including; E-Commerce Creative Direction, Online Drop-Ship Marketing, Outdoor Advertising, Retail Sales & Marketing, Architectural Signage & Wayfinding, Oil Industry Geothermal Mapping & Graphic Design (say that three times fast), Paint Party Event Planning, and a wide assortment of other B2B & B2C industries.  Through the years I’ve written and reported for multiple newspaper outlets and have taught art classes to both children and adults.  I’m proud to say that my extensive Sales and Marketing background, combined with my Creative Writing Style has brought colorful focus and unique perspectives, along with targeted solutions and persuasive sales strategies, to some of the most challenging sales & marketing platforms and delivery arenas throughout many years of dedicated professional service to my clients.  

Away from work, I very much enjoy my place as a grateful husband, father, grandfather, life coach and occasional motivational confidant to a large and loving family.  I do enjoy my work very much and see myself as a consummate and dedicated professional (my wife and kids think I'm a bit of a workaholic).  But I love to write and I appreciate every day that I'm able to share my talents of written persuasion… and I'd be very happy to be your guide, as we travel together on our journey to build the perfect copywriting solution.
